Job summary

BrightStar Care of Amarillo is seeking a skilled LVN to provide personalized nursing care to patients in their homes across Dumas, TX and surrounding communities.

This PRN role offers one-on-one patient care, independent work, flexible scheduling, and weekly pay with incentives. Candidates must have TX LVN license, 1 year nursing experience, BLS/CPR, driver's license, and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted Texas LVN license.
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience.
• Skilled home health experience preferred, but not required.
• Wound care experience is a plus.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Strong clinical and communication skills.
• Comfortable working independently.
• Own device and reliable internet connection required to access your schedule and complete charting.

Responsibilities

• Follow individualized plans of care.
• Monitor patients and recognize changes in condition.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
• Educate patients and families on care needs.
• Coordinate with physicians and other members of the care team.
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation.
