Job summary

BrightStar Care of Amarillo is seeking an LVN to provide skilled nursing care to patients in their homes throughout Tulia, Hereford, and nearby communities. You will offer one-on-one patient care with a supportive clinical team behind you, ensuring high-quality outcomes and flexible scheduling.

Ideal candidates hold a Texas LVN license, have at least 1 year of nursing experience, and can work independently with reliable transportation. BLS/CPR certification is required.

Qualifications

• Active Texas LVN license.
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience.
• Home health experience preferred, but not required.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care based on individualized plans of care.
• Monitor patient conditions and report changes.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
• Reinforce care instructions with patients and families.
• Communicate with physicians and other members of the care team.

What You’ll Need

• Current, unrestricted Texas LVN license
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience
• Skilled home health experience preferred, but not required
• Wound care experience is a plus
• Current BLS/CPR certification
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Comfortable working independently
• Own device and reliable internet connection required to access your schedule and complete charting
