Job summary

DOC Services Inc. is seeking a Commercial HVAC– Refrigeration Technician to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on commercial HVAC units and light industrial equipment.

You will monitor performance, document issues, and coordinate with managers to minimize downtime on critical systems. The role requires a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with walk-in freezers, reach-in freezers, ice machines and other HVAC-R equipment; EPA Certification is required.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• EPA Certification is required.
• Ability and desire to be cross trained on additional equipment for year round work.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Proficiency with MS Office products and advanced phone apps.
• Ability to provide own set of tools.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting the electronic and electrical components.
• Repair and Preventive Maintenance for Commercial HVAC and Refrigeration Units.
• Locating source of problems by observing mechanical devices in operations.
• Providing daily reports and communicating with managers and supervisors.
• Removing defective parts by dismantling devices and using hand/power tools.
• Identifying correct parts needed for equipment and resolving calls quickly.
• Adhering to OSHA and DOC safety regulations.
• Maintaining company vehicle.
