Skilled Production Operator - Mostly Hiring on 3rd Shift

Only candidates with a resume or complete previous and current work experience will be considered.

The Skilled Production Operator is responsible for working in mixing and packaging or assisting in other areas of the plant as assigned. Responsibilities include machine operation, quality checks, paperwork completion, using electronic devices, general production duties, and team member rotations.

Shift Hours

• Scheduled to work 5, 8-hour shifts between Monday - Friday

Shift details:

• 1st shift: 5:30 am to 1:30 pm
• 2nd shift: 1:30 pm to 9:30 pm
• 3rd shift: 9:30 pm to 5:30 am

Ability and willingness to work overtime, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays. Plant operates 24/7; hours may increase with demand.

Pay

• $20.00 per hour
• Additional $1.00 per hour for 2nd shift
• Additional $2.00 per hour for 3rd shift

Typical Day:

• Creating high-quality foods eaten nationwide
• Using industry-leading technology
• Working with experienced operators eager to pass on knowledge
• Challenging yourself to do the job right and develop new skills
• Troubleshooting machinery and collaborating with maintenance
• Calibrating systems, participating in startup/changeover/shutdown
• Engaging in continuous improvement initiatives
• Training new employees
• Assisting in other plant areas as needed

Qualifications:

• Ability to read/write in English for paperwork and instructions
• High school diploma or GED
• Manufacturing experience preferred
• Willingness for ongoing training and future leadership roles
• Mechanical skills for operating hand tools and equipment

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to handle allergens
• Lift up to 50 lbs
• Perform tasks including standing, walking, climbing, bending, pushing, pulling, twisting
• Work at heights with stairs, ladders, lifts
• Wear protective gear as required
• Adhere to grooming standards
• Work in hot, cold, noisy, dusty environments around machinery
