Job description

This position will work out of Portage, WI on 4th Shift - Friday night and Saturday night, 10:30 PM - 10:30 AM along with 2 - 8 hour shifts during the week (Monday - Friday), on 3rd shift. This position offers a $3.00 per hour shift premium.

Saint-Gobain's Portage, Wisconsin manufacturing team manufactures silicone medical components and tubing used in life-saving medical devices such as IV drug delivery sets, diabetes management, Covid diagnostics, and ventilators, as well as components for procedures such as eye surgeries.

In this role, you will:

1. Safely and efficiently operate manufacturing equipment to meet expected production rates, including operating molding presses, inspecting parts, packaging and labeling, washing parts, and tending to the oven room.
2. Work closely with QC inspectors and communicate issues regarding part and process quality.
3. Collaborate with the Manufacturing Technician team, Maintenance team, and Production Leads to ensure consistent and efficient operation of equipment to meet safety, quality, and production goals.

Schedule and Compensation:

The weekend 4th shift runs from 10:30 PM Friday to 10:30 AM Sunday, with a paid lunch period, and includes two 8-hour shifts during the week, preferably on 3rd shift. The 4th shift is eligible for a $3.00 shift differential added to the base hourly rate of $18.00.
