Job summary

The City of Conroe is seeking a skilled plumber to perform maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting on City facilities under the supervision of the Assistant Construction Manager. The position requires hands-on work with water supply, sanitary systems, and related plumbing components.

Candidates should have at least a high school diploma; Master Plumber license is preferred and 10 years of plumbing experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Master Plumber License preferred and 10 years of plumbing experience.
• Must possess a valid Texas class "C" driver's license or higher.

Responsibilities

• The ability to install, maintain, repair, and replace water supply, sanitary waste, vent, fixture, and related plumbing systems according to plans, codes, and specifications.
• Ability to diagnose plumbing system problems, leaks, stoppages, pressure issues, fixture failures, and other plumbing deficiencies in City facilities.
• Ability to communicate with vendors, management, contractors and the public in a professional manner.
