Job summary

Indianapolis Marion County Building Authority is seeking a painter to perform interior and exterior painting, refinishing, and related maintenance across its properties. Candidates should have a high school diploma, experience in electrostatic and brush/roller painting, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with general painting, finish painting and refinishing work.
• Experience with electrostatic and roll and brush equipment.
• Basic carpentry skills; read a tape and use basic power tools.
• Valid Indiana Driver's License.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Paint, finish and refinish Building Authority properties.
• Perform preventive maintenance, repair and alterations (interior/exterior).
• Assist other shops with maintenance repair.
• Comply with safety regulations and policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Paint Supervisor.
