Job summary

Blaire House of Worcester is seeking a Unit Manager (hourly position) to oversee nursing care in an assigned unit within our dementia-focused skilled nursing center in Worcester, MA. This role requires holding an active nursing license, current state registration, and English proficiency; IV certification is required and in-service training is provided.

Responsibilities include coordinating the nursing process, supervising staff, evaluating care plans, and ensuring care aligns with physician

Qualifications

• Licensed nurse with current state registration and ability to speak, read and write English.
• IV certification required; in-service training provided.

Responsibilities

• Assumes responsibility for nursing care in assigned unit.
• Observes and supervises nursing care according to physician's orders and standards.
• Coordinates the nursing process by assessing residents and implementing care plans.
• Assists with teaching ancillary staff and orienting new employees.
• Coordinates care plans and re-evaluates resident plans regularly.
