Job summary

Blaire House of Worcester, a 75-bed skilled nursing center, is seeking an energetic RN or LPN to uphold our high standards of senior care in Worcester, MA.

RN positions pay up to $42.00 per hour plus differential; LPN positions up to $38.00 per hour plus differential, with both full-time or per diem options. A $1,000 sign-on bonus and various perks are offered to qualified applicants.

Qualifications

• Education credentials required: Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Active RN or LPN license issued by the state board.
• In-service training provided as needed.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the nursing process: assess patients, plan, implement and evaluate care.
• Transcribe orders, rounds with physicians, and ensure proper medication administration.
• Order medications per facility procedures and perform narcotic counts as required.

Education

Graduation from an accredited, approved school of nursing

Job Summary:

• Participation in the nursing process by sharing in assessment of patients, planning of patient care, implementing the patient care plan, and evaluating patient care.
• Accepting doctor’s orders, transcribing doctor’s orders and making rounds with physicians.
• Ordering medications according to facility procedure, doing narcotic count according to regulation, auditing physician orders and medications as assigned.
• Administering medications and treatments as ordered.

Qualifications:

• EDUCATION: Graduation from an accredited, approved school of nursing. Current registration with the State Board of Nurse Examiners.
• TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE: Will receive in-service training in special areas.
