Qualifications

• Previous staffing or scheduling experience in a skilled nursing facility, healthcare, or long-term care setting preferred.
• Knowledge of nursing schedules and staffing requirements preferred.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage changing priorities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and staffing/payroll software systems.
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and professional.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain nursing department schedules for all shifts.
• Coordinate staffing coverage for call-outs, vacations, leaves, and open shifts.
• Communicate staffing needs with nursing leadership and agency partners as needed.
• Monitor staffing levels to ensure compliance with state and federal staffing requirements.
• Maintain accurate staffing records and attendance reports; assist with payroll and timekeeping reconciliation.
• Track overtime and work to minimize labor costs.
• Support onboarding and scheduling of new hires.
• Communicate schedule updates professionally to staff and management.
• Assist with PBJ data collection and reporting as needed.
