Job summary

Citadel Care Centers is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to work in a skilled nursing facility. The role involves evaluating residents, developing and implementing treatment plans, and coordinating with physicians on patient progress.

The successful candidate will hold a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, CCC-SLP or eligibility for CFY, and current Florida licensure. You will supervise CFYs and participate in ongoing staff development while meeting productivity expectations.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• CCC-SLP or eligibility for CFY.
• Current Florida SLP licensure.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates referred residents/patients and develops a treatment program with goals.
• Provides treatment as ordered and reviews progress with physician guidance.
• Communicates with physicians and observes/report on therapy responses.
• Instructs and supervises residents/patients and family/caregivers on therapy procedures.
• Participates in staff development and in-service education.
• Supervises CFYs per ASHA guidelines.
• Meets productivity and utilization expectations as set by the company.
• Completes timely clinical documentation including goals, progress, and approach.
