Job summary

City Scape Rehabilitation and Care Center is seeking a passionate Speech-Language Pathologist to deliver evaluation and treatment in a skilled nursing setting. You will impact residents' quality of life through evidence-based therapy and collaborative care planning.

The role requires a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active Colorado licensure or in process, and CC-SLP with BLS. Leadership and HIPAA compliance are essential as you work with a multi-disciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Current state licensure or in the process of licensure in this state.
• Current Basic Life Support certification in accordance with state regulations.
• Must be clinically driven, dependable, and self-motivated.
• Ability to adapt to CDC guidelines in the medical field.
• Minimum 1 year experience in a skilled nursing facility preferred.
• Ability to make independent decisions, follow instructions and accept constructive criticism.
• Leadership ability and the willingness to work harmoniously with other personnel.
• Good judgement and ability to maintain confidential information.
• HIPAA compliance knowledge with Colorado SLP licensure and CCC-SLP.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient evaluations and develop treatment plans with goals.
• Carry out patient care plans and progress within the care plan.
• Perform tests and complex treatments individually or with assistance.
• Collaborate with other therapists and physicians on patient programs.
• Document evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
• Provide a full range of speech therapy modalities per education and need.

Education

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology

Colorado SLP licensure

Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA (CCC-SLP)

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
