Job summary

Producers Rice Mill is seeking a safety-sensitive maintenance professional for construction and upkeep of equipment and structures within our rice processing facilities. The role requires performing millwright work, welding, and fabrication tasks, including handling forklifts and sky tracks while adhering to strict safety standards.

Candidates must lift up to 110 lbs, work long shifts during harvest, and be available for call-outs within 35 minutes.

Qualifications

• Ability to cut, weld, and operate forklift or sky tracks.
• Extensive hand and power tool experience.
• Lift up to 110 lbs and perform physical tasks daily.
• Willing to travel for extended periods.
• Able to work in hot/cold temperatures and stand for long hours.
• Must read, write, speak English fluently and have a valid driver's license.
• Respond to harvest call-outs within 35 minutes.

Responsibilities

• Perform construction and maintenance on equipment and structures in rice facilities.
• Milling, storage, drying equipment maintenance; millwright work and welding as needed.
• Work as part of a team; follow safety and food safety rules.
• Respond to call-outs during harvest and travel as required.
