Job summary

Producers Rice Mill is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform preventive and required maintenance on equipment and facilities at our Stuttgart, AR site. You will grease, replace parts, troubleshoot, install, inspect equipment, and help keep areas clean during and after maintenance. You may also assist with grounds upkeep such as mowing and spraying.

This is a safety-sensitive position with a Monday–Friday schedule 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Must possess mechanical aptitude.
• Able to bend, stoop, twist, and turn throughout the day.
• Able to climb up to 100 ft.
• Able to lift up to 100 lbs.
• Fluent reading, speaking, and understanding of English.
• Willing to be trained to operate heavy machinery and forklift.
• Prior experience preferred but not required.
• Wears PPE and follows safety rules.
• Other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and required maintenance on equipment and structures.
• Grease, replace parts, troubleshoot, install, and inspect equipment.
• Ensure work areas are clean after maintenance.
• Assist with grounds upkeep such as mowing and spraying when needed.
