This full-time position requires a high school diploma or GED, food safety certification, and at least 3 years of kitchen experience in clubs, resorts, or hotels. You will maintain high standards of cleanliness, portion control, and teamwork in a fast-paced kitchen.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Be knowledgeable of and comply with Club standards, policies, and regulations.
• Maintain regular attendance as scheduled.
• Maintain appearance and wear proper uniform and nametag.
• Prepare menu items according to chef's guidelines and recipes.
• Follow portion control and presentation guidelines.
• Maintain par levels and prep lists.
• Learn all stations of food preparation and memorize items.
• Ensure storage areas and coolers are orderly and clean.
• Ensure all food prep areas and equipment are sanitary.
• Label and date perishables properly.
• Handle food safely and thaw under refrigeration.
• Assist with weekly kitchen cleaning and maintenance.
• Assist with dishwashing as needed.
• Keep walk-ins clean and organized.
• Attend staff meetings and training.
• Assist with other kitchen areas as needed.
• Perform tasks as assigned by supervisors.
