Job summary

Wright Tree Service in Oregon is hiring a Tree Trimmer to prune and remove trees, limbs, and shrubs near power lines, ensuring vegetation clearance and tree health using climbing gear, a lift truck, and hand tools. You will work aloft and on the ground, handle rigging, operate equipment, and follow OSHA and ANSI standards.

The role requires safety focus, some overtime, and the ability to communicate professionally with customers and crew.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 months of tree trimming or clearing crew experience or successful skill assessments.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred, not mandatory.
• First-Aid and CPR within 90 days of hire or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Load vehicles and equipment with branches and logs for removal.
• Trim, remove or fell trees using climbing gear and manual tools.
• Work aloft to cut branches and lower them safely with rigging lines.
• Operate ground tools to fell trees and split into pieces.
• Follow safety rules near energized conductors and wear PPE.
