Job summary

Wright Tree Service is hiring a Tree Trimmer to prune and remove trees and limbs near power lines, using climbing equipment and ground tools. The role focuses on safety, efficiency, and maintaining tree health and appearance.

Experience in arboriculture and ability to work long hours in outdoor conditions is required; OSHA guidelines must be followed and CPR/First-Aid certifications may be required within 90 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 months experience in tree trimming or clearing crews or completed skills assessments.
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
• Must have First-Aid and CPR cards or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Load and transport limbs and logs using appropriate equipment.
• Trim, remove or fell trees near power lines with climbing gear and safety equipment.
• Work aloft and on the ground using hand saws, pruners and other tools.
• Follow safety procedures and OSHA standards to protect crew and public.
