We are currently accepting applications for Skilled Laborers for wastewater construction projects. Candidates must have at least 3-5 years of experience on construction sites, own transportation, be highly motivated, and willing to travel. A drug screen, physical, and criminal background check are required for successful candidates.

Skilled Laborers work under supervision of skilled tradespeople such as carpenters, millwrights, and pipefitters. They perform duties that require more skills than a general laborer but are not yet proficient enough to be considered skilled tradespeople. Responsibilities include:

• Rigging and handling heavy loads
• Installation of interior Ductile Iron Pipe and supports
• Installation of interior PVC pipe and supports
• Fitting copper and steel pipes
• Pipe testing
• Construction of concrete formwork
• Placement of reinforcing steel
• Placing & finishing concrete
• Stripping concrete formwork
• Rough carpentry, such as building temporary wooden structures
• Finish carpentry, such as installing casework
• Operating basic equipment like small backhoes, forklifts, and aerial lifts
• Site and trench excavation & backfill
• Laying yard pipe
• Surveying
• Demolition
• Unloading and storing materials
