This full-time, multi-shift role emphasizes craftsmanship, safety, and quality finish work with a path for overtime and long‑term career growth. Minimum 1 year joiner experience, blueprint reading, and ability to pass the Tacker Certification test are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year experience as a Joiner or related craft.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
• Pass the Tacker Certification test.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate, assemble, install, and repair wood and metal components throughout the ship.
• Install bulkheads, interior finishes, cabin accessories, furniture, racks, bins, decking structures, and decorative ceilings.
• Lay out work from drawings, specifications, blueprints, and shop sketches.
• Perform precise measurement, cutting, fastening, and finishing of materials.
• Ensure proper mounting and alignment of outfitting items, including partitions, panels, and deck structures.
• Work in shipboard environments that may include heights, confined spaces, and varying weather conditions.
• Support production needs across multiple shifts in a 24/7 manufacturing setting.
• Follow Ingalls' strong safety standards in all work areas.
