Job summary

HII's Ingalls Shipbuilding Division in Pascagoula is seeking skilled Joiners/Insulators for full-time roles. You will fabricate, install and repair bulkheads, wood and metal articles, and interior wood finishes, supporting ship outfitting and deck structures.

Ideal candidates have a minimum of 3 years of joinery experience in shipfitting or related crafts and can pass the Tacker Certification test. High School diploma or equivalent is expected; Master Tech Certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years experience as a Joiner or related craft in shipfitting, carpentry or sheetmetal.
• Must pass the Tacker Certification test.
• High School diploma or equivalent; Master Tech Certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate, assemble, install and repair bulkheads, wood and metal articles, interior wood finishes, cabin accessories, wood and metal deck structures.
• Responsible for proper mounting of furniture, racks and bins, partition bulkheads, decorative ceilings and false decks, as well as other outfitting items.
