Ingalls Shipbuilding, a division of Huntington Ingalls Industries, Inc., seeks Semi-Skilled Joiners in Pascagoula, MS. This full-time role offers hands-on carpentry and fabrication work to construct and outfit state-of-the-art naval vessels.

You’ll develop joiner skills, fabricate and install bulkheads and interior components, and work across shifts in a 24/7 environment while prioritizing safety and craftsmanship.

Qualifications

• 6 months joiner or related craft experience in shipfitting, carpentry, or sheetmetal.
• Ability to read and follow basic drawings, measurements, and layout instructions.
• Strong commitment to safety, craftsmanship, and teamwork.

Responsabilités

• Assist in fabricating, assembling, installing, and repairing wood and metal bulkheads, interior finishes, and deck structures.
• Help mount furniture, racks, bins, partitions, decorative ceilings, false decks, and other outfitting items.
• Use hand tools, power tools, measurement devices, and fastening equipment to support layout and installation work.
• Read and follow basic drawings, layout instructions, and specifications.
• Work in shipboard environments that may include heights, confined spaces, and varying weather conditions.
• Support production needs across multiple shifts in a 24/7 manufacturing environment.
