Job summary

Ingalls Shipbuilding in Pascagoula, MS is seeking a qualified Joiner/Insulator to fabricate, assemble, install and repair bulkheads, wood and metal articles, interior wood finishes, cabin accessories, and deck structures.

Must have at least 3 years of joinery or related experience in shipfitting, carpentry or sheetmetal and be able to pass the Tacker Certification test; Nice to have a High School diploma and Master Tech Certification.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years experience as a Joiner or related craft experience in shipfitting, carpentry or sheetmetal.
• Must be able to pass the Tacker Certification test.
• Relocation: No relocation assistance available.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate, assemble, install and repair bulkheads, wood and metal articles, interior wood finishes, cabin accessories, wood and metal deck structures.
• Responsible for the proper mounting of furniture, racks and bins, partition bulkheads, decorative ceilings, and false decks, as well as other outfitting items.
