Job summary

Qualifications

• One year of forklift/warehouse experience or more.
• Ability to safely operate a forklift and follow safety guidelines.
• Strong reading skills to interpret sales orders, purchase orders, and safety data.
• Stable work history and safe work record.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift and follow safety guidelines to move materials.
• Load, unload, and store building materials from trailers or rail cars with minimal damage.
• Store and retrieve materials (piece pick and/or bulk).
• Prepare paperwork for distribution and shipping.
• Perform daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance.
• Keep work area clean and organized.
• Assist with periodic inventory counts as needed.
