Qualifications

• One year or recent forklift/warehouse experience.
• Proficient and safe forklift operation to transport product.
• Read and follow directions; work independently, at times under pressure.
• Lift up to 75 lbs; detail oriented and organized.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift in compliance with forklift training and safety guidelines.
• Load/unload/store building materials from trailers or rail cars while minimizing damage.
• Store and retrieve material (piece pick and/or bulk).
• Prepare the paperwork required for distribution and shipping of products.
• Performs daily inspection and maintenance of equipment.
• Maintains cleanliness and tidiness in working and assigned area.
• Assists in periodic inventory counts as requested.
