Job summary

State of Connecticut’s CT State Community College seeks a Full-Time Maintenance Worker at Central Utility Plant, Norwich, CT. The role runs Monday–Friday, 6:30am–2:30pm, 37.5 hours weekly with a first shift in Norwich location.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in skilled trades and may substitute with a vocational/technical diploma; OSHA training and familiarity with Building Maintenance System (BMS) are preferred; driving/motor truck experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years of experience in one of the skilled trades.
• One of the skilled trades; Landscape maintenance or vegetable gardening; Operation of motor trucks or large buses.
• Graduation from a vocational or technical school may substitute for the General Experience.
• Preferred: Building Maintenance System (BMS); OSHA 10/30 certification; Facilities-related trade licensure (optional).
