Job summary

State of Connecticut - Military Department in Orange, CT is seeking a Skilled Maintainer for full-time, first-shift work from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Qualifications

• Two years of experience in one of the skilled trades or grounds maintenance.
• Experience operating motor trucks or large buses is preferred.
• Graduation from vocational or technical school may substitute for general experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform grounds care and landscaping tasks including planting, mowing and maintenance.
• Assist qualified craft workers and other higher level employees in trades areas.
• Operate and maintain motor equipment and vehicles as needed.
• Keep records and prepare reports related to duties.
