Qualifications

• Five (5) years of experience in one or more building trades or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• No license required for this level; some positions may require a valid Oklahoma Commercial driver’s license with appropriate endorsements.
• Some positions may require travel and lifting or other manual tasks.
• Safety-sensitive designation may apply per agency policy.

Responsibilities

• Carpentry work in construction or renovation; erect and maintain scaffolds, forms, frames, and related structures.
• Install, repair, or maintain plumbing fixtures and basic equipment.
• Maintain and repair electrical, heating, cooling, and other systems not requiring a license.
• Install and maintain locks and security devices; replace tumblers and keys.
• Construct and repair foundations, walls, stairs, and related masonry work.
• Operate and maintain equipment used in construction and grounds maintenance.
