Position Title:

CNC Programmer Operator

Wage:

$24-$30/hour

Shift:

2nd

Hours:

1pm-11pm Monday-Thursday + OT

QPS Employment Group is hiring a CNC Programmer Operator for a company in Milwaukee, WI. This is a direct hire role with an annual bonus opportunity averaging $1,800/year. Work in a clean, climate-controlled facility.

CNC Programmer Operator Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Design, develop, and program CNC turning centers with live tooling
• Program online and prepare tools
• Secure parts and install programs, check fixture and work positions
• Recognize, report, and correct errors; record deviations
• Diagnose malfunctions and coordinate repairs
• Recommend tooling and operational sequences for new requirements
• Set up and instruct Machine Operators, diagnose issues, and adjust as needed
• Work from detailed drawings and specifications
• Operate other machines like milling, drilling, tapping
• Perform quality checks and recalibrate machines
• Collaborate with supervisors and suggest process improvements

CNC Programmer Operator Requirements:

• Sit, stand, stoop, walk most of the day
• Lift up to 50 pounds
• Vision abilities including close, distance, color, peripheral, depth, and focus
• Technical skills, attention to detail, problem-solving, teamwork, initiative, safety, honesty, organization
• Ability to interpret safety rules, instructions, manuals
• Industrial math skills and basic math
• Follow instructions and handle multiple variables
• Develop implementation plans, communicate changes, support transitions, and monitor results
