Job summary

MKS Instruments is seeking a CNC Machinist I in Alabama to operate CNC lathe equipment and produce parts meeting specifications. You will machine, clean, and inspect your own work and report to the Manufacturing Specialist.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of related experience required.
• Requires machine shop experience and completion of a formal apprenticeship program.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC equipment to fabricate parts.
• Load parts in machines, cycles machines, and detect malfunctions like worn/damaged tools.
• Run production lots.
• Detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions.
• Inspect machined products and document results.
• Maintain appropriate paperwork for parts.
