Job summary

MKS Instruments, Inc. is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to partner with Engineering, Production, and Quality teams.

You will set up, operate, and maintain CNC machinery to produce precision components per engineering specifications in a fast-paced environment. You will report to the Senior Supervisor of Manufacturing Operations and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives while upholding safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Experience with multi-axis CNC machines and reading technical drawings.
• Familiarity with CAD/CAM software used in precision manufacturing.
• Experience with conversational CNC machines and G code programming.
• Background in continuous improvement or lean manufacturing methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machines to manufacture precision parts per technical drawings and work instructions.
• Set up machines, load raw materials, and monitor operations for abnormalities.
• Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments to ensure specifications are met.
• Maintain accurate documentation including inspection results and production logs.
• Identify and report defective materials, process issues or equipment concerns.
• Perform routine machine maintenance including lubricants and coolants.
