You will load machines, run cycles, inspect your own work, and maintain documentation for traceability. The role requires 6+ years of related experience, machine shop background, and strong mathematics knowledge, plus completion of a formal apprenticeship.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of related experience required.
• Requires machine shop experience, comprehensive knowledge and understanding of higher mathematics involved in the application of engineering principles and the performance of related operations, and completion of a formal apprenticeship program.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC lathe equipment to fabricate parts.
• Load parts in machines, cycle machines, and detect malfunctions in machine operations such as worn or damaged tools.
• Run production lots.
• Detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to management.
• Perform inspection of machined products including documentation of results.
• Maintain appropriate paperwork for various parts.
