Job summary

Right at Home SLC is seeking caregivers to provide compassionate, one-on-one in-home care in the Salt Lake City area. Morning shifts help clients with daily activities, companionship, and safety, while respecting independence and dignity.

This role welcomes individuals with dementia-care experience and offers ongoing training opportunities, mileage support, and a strong benefits package through a respected home-care provider.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 or older.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Eligible to work in the U.S.
• Able to pass a background check.
• Experience with dementia and behavioral care.
• Experience with hoyer lifts and gait belts (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one care, including companionship and personal hygiene support.
• Assist with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and transportation to appointments.
• Provide medication reminders and monitor client well‑being.
• Support morning care needs and create a safe, respectful environment.

Responsibilities

As a Caregiver at Right at Home SLC, you will provide one‑on‑one care that enhances the quality of life for both male and female clients. Duties include companionship, assistance with personal hygiene (peri‑care, bathroom or in‑bed support, brief changes), light housekeeping, meal preparation, transportation to appointments or outings, and medication reminders. This role is ideal for compassionate individuals who want to make a meaningful impact during morning hours.

Benefits

• Competitive pay: $17.00–$18.25/hour (depending on experience, Dementia Certification, or CNA), minimum $27.50 per shift

• Training/GUIDE Respite Rate: $17.00/hour

• Raises after 60 days and annual reviews

• Generous bonus after 60 days (20+ hours/week and required documents completed)

• Mileage reimbursement between client visits (if under one hour apart)
