Job summary

Right at Home SLC is hiring a compassionate Caregiver to provide in-home, one-on-one care for seniors and adults with disabilities in the Salt Lake area. Weekend morning shifts offer a meaningful way to make a difference while supporting daily living activities, companionship, and basic health tasks.

Responsibilities include personal care, mobility assistance, light housekeeping, meal prep, appointment transportation, and medication reminders.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Eligible to work in the U.S.
• Able to pass a background check.
• Experience with dementia and behavioral care.
• Experience with hoyer lifts and gait belts preferred.

Responsibilities

As a Caregiver at Right at Home SLC, you will provide one‑on‑one care that enhances the quality of life for both male and female clients. Duties include companionship, assistance with personal hygiene (peri‑care, bathroom or in‑bed support, brief changes), light housekeeping, meal preparation, transportation to appointments or outings, and medication reminders. This role is ideal for compassionate individuals who want to make a meaningful impact during morning hours.

Benefits

• Competitive pay: $17.00–$18.25/hour (depending on experience, Dementia Certification, or CNA), minimum $27.50 per shift

• Training/GUIDE Respite Rate: $17.00/hour

• Raises after 60 days and annual reviews

• Generous bonus after 60 days (20+ hours/week and required documents completed)

• Mileage reimbursement between client visits (if under one hour apart)
