Job summary

Right at Home SLC is seeking a compassionate caregiver for weekend morning shifts to provide one-on-one in-home care for seniors in the Salt Lake City area.

You will assist with daily activities, personal care, light housekeeping, meal preparation, transportation, and medication reminders while delivering quality, respectful support. Training and ongoing guidance are provided to help you succeed.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 or older.
• Valid driver?s license and reliable transportation.
• Eligible to work in the U.S.
• Able to pass a background check.
• Experience with dementia and behavioral care.
• Experience with hoyer lifts and gait belts (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one care and companionship to clients.
• Assist with personal hygiene tasks and basic mobility support.
• Perform light housekeeping, meal preparation, and transportation to appointments.
• Remind and assist with medications as directed by clients and caregivers.
• Support morning routines and ensure safe, respectful care.

We are currently seeking a skilled Caregiver to work weekends.

Responsibilities

As a Caregiver at Right at Home SLC, you will provide one‑on‑one care that enhances the quality of life for both male and female clients. Duties include companionship, assistance with personal hygiene (peri‑care, bathroom or in‑bed support, brief changes), light housekeeping, meal preparation, transportation to appointments or outings, and medication reminders. This role is ideal for compassionate individuals who want to make a meaningful impact during morning hours.

Benefits

• Competitive pay: $17.00–$18.25/hour (depending on experience, Dementia Certification, or CNA), minimum $27.50 per shift
• Training/GUIDE Respite Rate: $17.00/hour
• Raises after 60 days and annual reviews
• Generous bonus after 60 days (20+ hours/week and required documents completed)
• Mileage reimbursement between client visits (if under one hour apart)
