Job summary

Right at Home SLC is hiring for morning shift caregivers to provide compassionate, one-on-one in-home care for seniors and adults with disabilities in the Salt Lake area.

You will assist with personal care, light housekeeping, meal preparation and transportation, plus medication reminders, while receiving ongoing training and support.

This franchise is independently owned; your application goes directly to the local franchisee who will handle the interview and hiring.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older (minimum age).
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Eligible to work in the U.S.
• Able to pass a background check.
• Experience with dementia and behavioral care.
• Experience with hoyer lifts and gait belts (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one care to enhance quality of life for clients.
• Assist with personal hygiene including peri-care, bathroom or in-bed support.
• Perform light housekeeping and meal preparation.
• Provide transportation to appointments or outings.
• Give medication reminders and monitor safety.

Responsibilities

As a Caregiver at Right at Home SLC, you will provide one‑on‑one care that enhances the quality of life for both male and female clients. Duties include companionship, assistance with personal hygiene (peri‑care, bathroom or in‑bed support, brief changes), light housekeeping, meal preparation, transportation to appointments or outings, and medication reminders. This role is ideal for compassionate individuals who want to make a meaningful impact during morning hours.

Benefits

• Competitive pay: $17.00–$18.25/hour (depending on experience, Dementia Certification, or CNA), minimum $27.50 per shift
• Training/GUIDE Respite Rate: $17.00/hour
• Raises after 60 days and annual reviews
• Generous bonus after 60 days (20+ hours/week and required documents completed)
• Mileage reimbursement between client visits (if under one hour apart)
