Job summary

Right at Home SLC is seeking a caregiver for a male client with behavioral care needs. The schedule is weekends from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. with some flexibility. The role focuses on companionship, safety, and supporting daily living activities in the client’s home.

Responsibilities include assisting with hygiene, light housekeeping, meal prep, transportation, and medication reminders to promote comfort and independence. Prior experience with dementia or behavioral care is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 or older.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Eligible to work in the U.S.
• Able to pass a background check.
• Experience with dementia or behavioral care (preferred).
• Familiarity with hoyer lifts and gait belts (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Assist with personal hygiene needs including peri-care, bathroom or in-bed support, and brief changes.
• Maintain a safe environment with light housekeeping and meal preparation.
• Provide transportation to appointments or outings and medication reminders.

We are currently seeking a Caregiver with experience in behavioral care. This is a specific assignment for a male client, with a schedule from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. (approximately two hours, with some flexibility) on weekends (starting on Friday).

Responsibilities:

As a caregiver, responsibilities include providing companionship and emotional support to clients while assisting with personal hygiene needs such as peri‑care, bathroom or in‑bed support, and brief changes. Caregivers help maintain a safe environment through light housekeeping, prepare nutritious meals tailored to client needs, and offer transportation to appointments or outings. They also provide medication reminders to support health management, ensuring clients receive attentive, compassionate care that promotes comfort, independence, and overall well‑being.

Benefits:

• Competitive pay: $17.00-$18.25/hour (based on experience, CNA, or Dementia Certification)
• Minimum $27.50 per shift
• Training/GUIDE Respite Rate: $17.00/hour
