Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Auto Body Technician to expertly assess and repair vehicles to pre-accident condition. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles, ensuring speed, quality, and customer excellence as part of The Boyd Group family.

You will collaborate with team members to meet KPIs, plan repairs, and maintain brand standards while providing exceptional customer experiences in a fast-paced shop environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school program completion or a 3-year apprenticeship in auto body repair.
• Ability to read job orders and work with very little supervision.

Responsibilities

• Plan repair work and prepare customer cost estimates using tools like cutting guns and plasma cutters.
• Hammer out dents and apply filler resins when needed.
• Realign chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Remove damaged sections and replace with parts; repair glass as needed.
• Weld and fit parts; repaint vehicles with factory-specified paint.
• Complete work orders within labor time guidelines and inspect final repairs.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
