Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Auto Body Technician to deliver exceptional customer experiences through meticulous assessment and repairs to restore vehicles to pre-accident condition. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble cars while upholding the speed, quality, and customer-excellence promise as a Brand Ambassador of The Boyd Group.

You will work with skilled teammates to plan repairs, estimate costs, and ensure repairs meet lab-tested standards and KPIs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Successful completion of technical school program OR a 3-year apprenticeship as an auto body repairer.
• Ability to read and interpret job orders and work with minimal supervision.
• Thorough understanding of vehicle body repair methods and required tools.

Responsibilities

• Plan the repair work and prepare cost estimates.
• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles to pre-accident condition.
• Realign chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Replace damaged sections and glass; repaint vehicles as needed.
• Weld and fit parts, ensuring work meets KPIs and brand standards.
• Inspect vehicles after repair to confirm correct execution.
