Job summary

Pennsy Supply, a CRH company, is seeking a skilled asphalt paving machine operator to control and operate paving equipment at job sites. This role requires adherence to MSHA/OSHA/DOT safety standards and a readiness to perform pre-shift inspections, grading tasks and traffic control operations.

Eligible candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, with paving experience preferred. Training is provided, and background checks are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Paving experience preferred.
• Training provided for non-experienced candidates.
• Able to submit to drug screen, DOT physical and background check.

Responsibilities

• Operate asphalt paving equipment and ensure proper alignment.
• Follow safety rules and regulations (MSHA/OSHA/DOT).
• Conduct area inspections and pre-shift safety tasks (JSAs, TRACK).
• Assist with signs, barricades, cones and traffic control devices.
• Load/unload materials and move tools to worksites.
• Communicate with equipment operators and ground personnel.
• Perform general site duties and keep work areas clean.
