Job summary

Pennsy Supply, a CRH company, is seeking a Construction Concrete Laborer to support high-volume concrete paving operations on roads and highways. You will perform essential hands-on tasks, adhere to safety regulations, and assist with forming, leveling, and finishing concrete surfaces.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and 3-5 years of experience. Drug screening and background checks are required, with possible variable shift hours including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Must submit to a drug screen, physical and criminal background check.
• Able to work varying times during day, night or weekend hours.
• 3-5 years' experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to safety rules and regulations of MSHA/OSHA/DOT and Pennsy Supply, Inc.
• Signal concrete deliverer to position truck for pouring.
• Move discharge chute to direct concrete into forms and spread concrete.
• Level and finish concrete surfaces to specification using screed, floats, and trowel.
• Direct traffic and communicate with dump and lute personnel.
• Load, unload and carry tools, equipment and materials.
