Job summary

You will read aerospace blueprints, set up sheet metal machines including FLOW water-jet, Amada and Cincinnati brakes, and work with a variety of tools to build and repair structural components, ensuring conformance to specifications.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate, assemble, verify to specifications, rework, install parts/assemblies, cut, install insulation, and assemble weld-tooling fixtures.
• Set up and operate sheet metal machines including FLOW water-jet machines, Amada and Cincinnati brake presses.
• Read aerospace blueprints, REDARS, McDonnell Douglas & Boeing engineering docs to determine sequence of operations, tolerances, and finishes.
• Prepare shop level sequencing data for water jet machine.
• Set up various sheet metal machines, align, shim, clamp, position and locate work pieces with minimal supervision.
