Job summary

NASK hosts a SkillBridge Internship in Beavercreek, OH for a Systems Administrator to gain hands-on experience within our security‑critical environment. The role emphasizes maintaining secure, available systems and applying established IT policies while learning company processes.

The successful candidate will be onsite, transition-friendly, and must have TS/SCI with Poly. BS in a related field and security certifications are preferred, with a strong emphasis on teamwork, reliability, and

Qualifications

Active TS/SCI with Poly is required.
2+ years of network/system administration experience with Linux & Windows Server.
CompTIA Security+ certification.
Experience with Tier 1 hardware/software/peripherals support.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
Familiarity with core system administration protocols.
Demonstrated professionalism and reliability under pressure.

Responsibilities

Monitor assigned systems to ensure high availability, performance and security.
Design, implement, secure, and maintain systems and related applications and services.
Provide day-to-day operational maintenance, support and upgrades.
Ensure data integrity by applying standard software/hardware solutions.
