# of Openings: 1 SkillBridge Systems Administrator Location: Beavercreek, OH Minimum Clearance Required to Start: Active TS/SCI with a CI poly NASK offers a SkillBridge Internship Program for transitioning military personnel for a System Administrator position. MUST be transitioning US Military personnel with your COMMAND'S approval for this program.

More about your role: At NASK, we're growing, building great teams, and doing exciting work. The successful SkillBridge candidate will be onsite in our Beavercreek, OH office. You will be able to learn and demonstrate in-depth knowledge of company processes, systems, and networks and will follow established IT policies and procedures to perform audits and ensure compliance. You will be able to monitor assigned systems to ensure high availability, optimum performance, and security, and design, implement, secure, and maintain systems and associated applications, services, and components while assisting with day-to-day operational maintenance, support, and upgrades. You will also ensure data integrity by implementing standard software and hardware solutions.

Required Qualifications

• TS/SCI with a Poly
• Two or more years of Network/system administration experience with Linux & Windows Server and built-in roles (i.e., Active Directory, etc.)
• COMPTIA Security+ certification
• Working knowledge and experience with Tier 1 Support (hardware/software/peripherals)
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
• Professionalism and courtesy in all interactions
• Working knowledge of core system administration protocols
• Works well under pressure and models a strong work ethic
• Focuses on results and follow-through on commitments and assignments

Preferred Qualifications

• Prefer BS in computer science, business administration, MIS, or a related field
• Experience with SSL certificates and certificate authorities
• Experience with DCID 6/3 and/or ICD 503 Security Practices
• Git/Subversion familiarity
• JIRA (or equivalent task management) familiarity
• Networking (Routing/Subnetting/Layer) familiarity
• Storage (RAIDing/NAS/SAN) concept familiarity
• Strong Linux Experience
