Job summary

Siemens Mobility offers a SkillBridge Internship for active-duty service members at a U.S. base.

You will join as an Associate Project Manager, supporting Building Automation, Fire/Life Safety, or Integrated Security projects with hands-on exposure to a world-leading technology company. Responsibilities include scheduling, contract review, procurement, and coordinating technicians, while aligning with military wage arrangements.

Qualifications

• Active-duty military status required; SkillBridge internship with Vets2PM collaboration.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Electro-mechanical aptitude and technical experience supporting ME-related systems.
• Project management experience including scope, scheduling, documentation and fiscal responsibility.
• Experience using Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to communicate effectively (verbal & written) and interface with customers; collaborate with team members; on-site travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Review project contracts, specs, and drawings to establish intent.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, coordinate team needs, and identify time-sensitive installations.
• Manage supply requisitions and oversee materials procurement.
• Review plans, participate in cost reviews, and assist in subcontractor contracting.
• Conduct orientation for technicians, provide project documentation, and track resources.
• Document events affecting schedule, scope, and efficiency.
• Pursue change-orders and coordinate billing.
• Schedule commissioning resources and provide documentation.
• Complete project-closeout documentation.
