Job summary

Siemens is offering a SkillBridge internship for active-duty US military members in collaboration with Vets2PM. You will gain hands-on project management experience supporting Building Automation, Fire/Life Safety, and Integrated Security projects in commercial settings.

You will review contracts, prepare schedules, coordinate procurement, and assist with subcontractor contracts while communicating with customers and team members.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Demonstrated electro-mechanical aptitude and experience with MEPS/related systems.
• Project management experience including scope, scheduling, and budgeting.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to interface with customers and collaborate with team members.
• Willingness to work on-site and travel within the local area.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Review project contracts, specs, and drawings to establish intent.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, coordinate needs, and identify time-sensitive installations.
• Manage supply requisitions and oversee materials procurement.
• Review plans and assist in subcontractor contracting and cost reviews.
• Conduct orientation for technicians and track resources.
• Document schedule-impacting events and coordinate billings.
• Coordinate change orders and close-out documentation for projects.
