Job summary

Siemens in San Diego offers a SkillBridge internship for active service members with formal approval to participate. You will gain hands-on experience supporting Building Automation, Fire/Life Safety, and Integrated Security projects in commercial buildings while learning project management, scheduling, and cost control.

Selected candidates will continue to be paid by the US Military benefits during the internship, and may have an opportunity to join Siemens after successful completion.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Electro-mechanical aptitude and experience with MEPT systems.
• Project management experience: scope, scheduling, documentation, resources, budgeting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong verbal and written communication; ability to interface with customers.

Responsibilities

• Review contracts, specs, and drawings to establish intent.
• Develop and maintain project schedules and coordinate teams.
• Manage supply requisitions and materials procurement.
• Assist in subcontractor contracting and cost reviews.
• Provide project documentation and track resources.
