Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications include: active-duty service member (180 days or fewer to separation) approved for SkillBridge.
• Military mechanically/technically oriented background preferred.
• Basic understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to read manuals and follow repair procedures.

Responsibilities

• Support diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of heavy equipment under supervision.
• Perform preventive maintenance inspections and service work.
• Read wiring diagrams and manufacturer service bulletins.
• Utilize diagnostic software and tools to identify issues.
• Document work performed and parts used in the shop system.
• Maintain clean, safe work area and communicate status effectively.
