Valor Environmental seeks a Full-Time Skid Steer Operator/Crew Leader to oversee field crews, install BMPs, and ensure safety.

Qualifications

• Must have previous construction or landscaping leadership experience.
• Must have a valid Driver’s License.
• Must be able to work outdoors in all weather.
• Must be able to work weekends and extended hours as needed; able to lift 50 lbs frequently.

Responsibilities

• Lead a crew in the absence of the Field Quality Manager.
• Install and remove silt fence.
• Protect storm inlets and install erosion control BMPs.
• Use heavy duty hand tools and operate company machinery.
• Identify safety hazards and correct unsafe practices.

Full-Time Skid Steer Operator/Crew Leader (Construction/Landscaping)

Pay rate: $19.00-$22.00 plus overtime

Job Responsibilities

• Lead a crew of Environmental Field Service (EFS) Specialists in the occurrence a Field Quality Manager (FQM) is out.
• Install and remove Silt Fence.
• Install protection to storm inlets.
• Work with heavy duty hand tools (sledge hammer/shovels, etc.).
• Install various types of erosion control measures (BMPs) as prescribed by reporting agencies.
• Watch for safety hazards on jobsite, correct employees anytime they are working in an unsafe manner.
• Operate company machinery.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Previous construction or landscaping leadership experience
• Must have a valid Driver’s License
• Must be able to physically work outdoors in all types of weather
• Must be able to work weekends and extended hours as neededBe able to lift, pull and push materials and equipment to complete assigned job tasks. Be able to lift 50 pounds of weight frequently throughout assigned workday.
