Valor Environmental is seeking a Full-Time Crew Leader in Training for construction and landscaping projects across the United States. The role involves leading a crew, installing erosion controls, and ensuring safety on diverse job sites.

You will handle silt fences, storm inlet protection, and various BMPs while supporting field operations. The position requires outdoor work in all weather, weekend availability, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead a crew of Environmental Field Service Specialists in manager absence.
• Install and remove silt fence and protect storm inlets.
• Work with heavy-duty hand tools and operate company machinery.
• Implement erosion control measures as prescribed by reporting agencies.
• Monitor safety and correct unsafe practices on site.

Full-Time Crew Leader in Training (Construction/Landscaping)

Pay rate: $19.00-$22.00 plus overtime

Job Responsibilities

• Lead a crew of Environmental Field Service (EFS) Specialists in the occurrence a Field Quality Manager (FQM) is out.
• Install and remove Silt Fence.
• Install protection to storm inlets.
• Work with heavy duty hand tools (sledge hammer/shovels, etc.).
• Install various types of erosion control measures (BMPs) as prescribed by reporting agencies.
• Watch for safety hazards on jobsite, correct employees anytime they are working in an unsafe manner.
• Operate company machinery.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Previous construction or landscaping leadership experience
• Must have a valid Driver’s License
• Must be able to physically work outdoors in all types of weather
• Must be able to work weekends and extended hours as needed
• Be able to lift, pull and push materials and equipment to complete assigned job tasks. Be able to lift 50 pounds of weight frequently throughout assigned workday.
