Valor Environmental in Panama City, FL is hiring a Full-Time Skid Steer Operator/Crew Leader for construction and landscaping projects. The role leads daily crew activities, manages materials and safety, and coordinates with site clients to ensure quality work.

Qualifications

• Previous construction or landscaping leadership experience.
• Must have a valid Driver's License.
• Able to work outdoors in all weather.
• Must be able to work weekends and extended hours as needed.
• Be able to lift 50 pounds repeatedly during shifts.

Responsibilities

• Leads all crew activities for daily jobs, including site travel, material management, quality control, and safety checks.
• Interacts with clients on site to ensure work is completed to standard.
• Reinforces company culture with the crew (attire, communication, work ethic, safety).
• Keeps job materials organized and minimizes waste.
• Operates heavy equipment (skid steer, trencher, backhoe, sweeper) and obeys regulations.
• Uses phones/computers for reporting and documentation.
• Completes paperwork accurately and on time.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.

Full-Time Skid Steer Operator/Crew Leader (Construction/Landscaping)

Salary range: $44k - $46k

Job Responsibilities

• Leads all efforts of crew work for the day's events (driving to site, management of materials, quality of work, sign off on inspection reports, communication in field, care of materials and tools, managing overtime, illustrating safety measures, etc.)
• Interacts with clients on site to assure work is done
• Crew leader reinforces company culture with crew (attire, communication, work ethic, safety, and attitude)
• Assures that job materials are well kept, maintained and utilized without waste
• Operates heavy equipment (trencher, skid steer, bobcat, backhoe, sweeper) and truck/trailer safely. Abides by all applicable laws/regulations.
• Demonstrates organization and electronic usage capability (i.e. using phone, computers, etc.)
• Crew leader will complete all required paperwork and submissions accurately and timely
• Additional duties as assigned

Requirements

• Previous construction or landscaping leadership experience

• Must be able to physically work outdoors in all types of weather
• Must be able to work weekends and extended hours as needed
• Be able to lift, pull and push materials and equipment to complete assigned job tasks. Be able to lift 50 pounds of weight frequently throughout assigned workday.
